Poison Information Centre answers questions concerning the prevention and the treatment of acute poisonings every day around the clock. There are also first aid instructions for poisoning accidents on the website of the Poison Information Centre.

The Poison Information Centre does not, however, answer questions concerning the poisonings of animals. Contact the veterinarian who has treated your animal before or the veterinarian on duty, tel. 02 269 0800.

Oil or chemical damages

Oil and other chemical damages occur in connection with transports and handling of different products. Most oil damages at buildings occur in connection with the refilling either because of overflow or other similar damage.

When you observe a damage:

• Call the general emergency number 112
• If possible, prevent the spreading of the substance to the environment .
