Corporate social responsibility

As one of the largest university of applied sciences in Finland, Turku University of Applied Sciences is very serious about corporate social responsibility. We are the first institution of higher learning in Finland and in the entire world to have developed our operations with reports on corporate social responsibility. Following the principles of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility improves our basic operations and increases our regional effectiveness.

- The corporate social responsibility at Turku University of Applied Sciences means that we take responsibility for the efficiency of our operations, and for the influence our operations have on the surrounding society and on the central interest groups, that is, the students, staff  and working life,  Juha Kettunen, Rector of TUAS.

The Unit for Regional Development produces annual reports on corporate social responsibility and co-ordinates Turku TUAS's programme for corporate social responsibilty.
