Structure of Education in Finland

Studies in universities of applied sciences lead to a higher education degree and develop practically oriented professional skills.

The Bachelor´s degree consists of 210-270 ECTS credits, the duration being 3.5-4.5 years.

The Master´s degree is a higher education programme which offers students an opportunity to advance and deepen expertise in their field. The duration of the Master´s programme in universities of applied sciences is 1.5-2 years (60-90 ECTS).
